Two little girls are bound to live without a father, as their father is died in the Air India plane crash on July 12 which took place two weeks after the mother died due to cancer.
According to tragic news, a 37 year old UK citizen Arjun Patoliya ran into one of the 270 fatalities during last week avert aviation accident which is considered as the worst accident in India in more than 30 years. It is still investigating what exactly had gone wrong with the aircraft that has crashed barely a minute after it had been brought out of the runway as the plane had been facing some complications right since it had been brought out to the runway.
Arjun had been scouting through the country to accomplish the final desire of his deceased wife Bharti of having her ashes scattered across her home place in Gujarat. Bharti is reported to have passed away two weeks ago after a ” brave ” fight with cancer.
Arjun is now dead and the two little girls he and Bharti had (barely four and eight years old) are left as orphans.
Very little has been so far in the form of concrete answers and the bereaved families of those who lost their lives in the crash are still in shock. They include the family of Arjun and Bharti, which has already lost two families within a little time period of less than 20 days.
Following a tragic death of Arjun and Bharti, a GoFundMe has been established, which aims to collect money that can be used in the future of their children.
Within the framework of only 18 days, two sisters, who were only 4 and 8 years old managed to lose both of their love parents, as the bio of the fundraiser says.
Their mother is Bharti Patoliya who died after a fierce battle with cancer. In an attempt to fulfill her last wish, her husband, Arjun Patoliya, went to India to sprinkle her ashes to her homeland Gujarat. However, they faced tragedy again during his trip back home to their daughters and Arjun was numbered in the Air India Flight Tragedy in June, 2025 only a few minutes after take off in Ahmedabad.
Arjun walked away to say goodbye to his wife and never came back to the kids they both brought up. These two, these two beautiful girls, young girls, now are without parents, and in less than two weeks their whole world has been overturned.”
Currently more than 576,000 has been raised, which “will all go straight to a legal trust or to the appointed guardians so that every penny is committed to the needs of the girls”.
Talking to the Indian express, Arjun mother, Kanchan Patoliya, indicated that she or her younger boy Gopal will take charge of the girls.
It happened that: gopal arrived at Ahmedabad on a Friday in the evening. After all the rituals are over we shall sit down and determine the fate of the two girl children. I will fly to London to stay with my younger son and look after my granddaughters (in case I need to).
