Donald Trump is currently receiving a huge backlash because he left the G7 summit in Canada early with what analysts have termed as a psychopathic explanation on why he did so.
Comprising of US, UK, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, and Japan leaders, the G7 has been meeting once a year in the last 50 years to discuss coordination of the global economic plan and international security. And when the US president cut his visit short on Monday (June 16), it was not lost to anyone.
White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt gave a generic reason stating that Trump would leave after dinner with other heads of state because of the situation in the Middle East; it is becoming more tense.
A lot was done but due to what is taking place in the Middle East President Trump will be out tonight after dinner, she noted on X.
Trump on his part claimed that he had told the Canadian Prime Minister and host of the summit, Mark Carney that the rest of the leaders would understand.
I could spend one more day, but they know, this is hump work, Trump said to The Guardian.
His early departure was his absence on the joint statement of G7 without ceasefire in Gaza to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East. Although Trump signed the statement, he resorted to Truth Social to deliver a much more alarming message as he implored people in Tehran to flee the city as Israel continued its attacks on Iran.
On last Thursday, Israel started attacking Tehranization positions and nuclear facilities. The US has not experienced any direct participation in the attacks, but the rhetoric of Trump has brought the fire to fuel. Next was the remark that elicited especial angry response.
Trump wrote in an Oct. 31 post in Truth Social that French President Emmanuel Macron was wrong to imply that his departure had something to do with ceasefire negotiations. Publicity-seeking President Emmanuel Macron, of France, erroneously stated that I left G7 Summit, in Canada, to go back to D.C. to work on a cease fire between Israel and Iran. Wrong!” Trump wrote.
Why I am now on my way to Washington he has no idea, but it is certainly not a Cease Fire. Very much bigger. Emmanuel just gets it wrong whether deliberately or otherwise. Stay Tuned!”

The tweet spawned a backlash in which people criticized Trump as being unhinged, pathetic, and petty.
As someone phrased it, “Insulting our allies, once again, after complaining that they will not readmit Putin into the G8,” a controversial acceptance famously expressed by Trump himself as the wrong move back in 2014.
There were a lot of questions about what could be so much more important than a ceasefire in the Middle East. Even Trump had joked of something big prior to his departure of the summit when he addressed the reporters stating: Iran wants to make a deal. and by the time I get out of this place we are going to be doing something. But I must go away here.”
The deal or whatever he was talking about seems not to have been going through. Trump went to a higher level of rhetoric in a follow-up post.
Iran ought to have done the plan I asked them to sign the deal. How sad and such a waste of human life he wrote. That is simply put, IRAN CAN NOT POSSIBLY HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. I repeated it word after word! Leave Tehran, everyone immediately!”
According to critics, Trump is only fueling the tensions and not reducing them as he claims and there is a chance that the US is not really playing any part in the backstage in the military action of Israel.
