A fur coat, beautiful skin, and everybody going crazy over you. In a stunning new photo shoot, Goldie Hawn looked great, but the internet’s response was everything but calm.
On August 31, the 79-year-old diva was in Perfect Magazine wearing lace gowns, couture kaftans, and a satin Prada coat that got a lot of people talking. What was supposed to be a gathering for old-school style and comic royalty quickly turned into a storm of turmoil and accusations of fur and filters.

The most popular shot from the shoot features Hawn in a brown satin slip dress and a huge Prada blazer, leaning into a baroque fantasy. The cover showed her wearing a strapless Norma Kamali dress and jewelry from Gucci and Cartier. How does it look? The California ideal meets Hollywood from the past.
But it didn’t take long for detractors to shift the mood.
“Is that fur from an animal?” One person said, “I’m so disappointed 😢.” A few individuals went even further and said the look was “ashamed,” “terrible,” and “ruined.” The strong reaction caused a fight, and they presumably didn’t get the memo: Prada ceased using real fur in 2020.
