Donald Trump has blasted comedian and actress Rosie O’Donnell again, saying she is “a threat to humanity” and that she should stay in Ireland for good.
Trump Attacks O’Donnell on Truth Social
On Saturday, July 12, Trump, who is 79 years old, wrote on Truth Social to start his public war with O’Donnell, who is 63 years old, again. He stated she is a danger to the US.
He writes about her recent migration to Ireland:
“I’m really thinking about taking away Rosie O’Donnell’s citizenship because she doesn’t care about the things that are important to our Great Country.” She is a threat to everyone and should stay in Ireland, which is a lovely country, if they would have her. “GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
O’Donnell had already declared that the major reason she was leaving the U.S. was because of Trump’s second inauguration in January 2025.t 20 years.
This fight has been going on for almost 20 years.
O’Donnell was on The View in December 2006, and that’s when the sour feelings between Trump and O’Donnell began.
She stated Trump was not trustworthy and dubbed him “a snake-oil salesman on Little House On The Prairie” because he gave Miss USA Tara Conner another chance after she drank alcohol when she was underage.
O’Donnell commented, “He annoys me in so many ways…” He didn’t create himself. He cheated on his first wife, had an affair, left his second wife, and had additional children. How does he guide the morals of people in their 20s? Donald, sit down and turn around. I don’t like him.
Trump’s answer was fast and never-ending.
Trump didn’t take the time to get back to them. In an interview with People magazine, he labeled O’Donnell “a woman out of control” and warned he might sue her. “She’ll regret saying those things.” Rosie is a loser. He said, “A complete loser.”
Trump was highly upset with what she claimed about his money and replied, “She lied.” I’m going to sue her because it will be fun.
A Fight That Will Never End
For years, Trump didn’t like O’Donnell. After she got engaged in 2011, he made fun of her on Twitter. He said:
“I feel sorry for the new person Rosie is with. Her parents must be really upset that their daughter is dating Rosie. A total loser.
During a Republican primary debate in 2015, someone confronted Trump about his history of making sexist comments. He said, “Just Rosie O’Donnell.”
O’Donnell worries about how emotionally draining it is for her.
O’Donnell has been honest about how Trump’s attacks have had a huge effect on her mental health. She told People that what he did was the worst bullying she had ever seen:
“It was worse than anything I went through as a kid.” It was public, national, and everyone seemed to be alright with it.
After Trump won the 2016 election, she became a vociferous critic and even protested outside the White House in 2018. After he was re-elected in 2025, she decided to emigrate to Ireland.
The Tension Stays—Even in the Sea
The fight doesn’t appear to be getting any better, even though they put an ocean between them. A journalist from Ireland sarcastically asked Prime Minister Micheál Martin why O’Donnell was allowed to move to Ireland. It is said that Trump said:
“Do you even know her?” It’s best that you don’t know.
“He’s been doing this for twenty years, and it still shocks me every time,” O’Donnell said recently.
