Ingredients:
Ingredient Quantity
Ground beef 2 pounds
Chopped onion 1
Garlic cloves, chopped 3
Reduced cream of mushroom soup 1 can (10.5 ounces)
One cup milk
Salt 1 teaspoon
Black pepper Half teaspoon
Very sliced potatoes 4 cups
Shredded cheddar cheese 1 1/2 cups
Worcestershire sauce 1 tbs
Olive oil 1 tablespoon
Instructions:
Saute Aromatics: Get medium-sized skillet and warm up the olive oil. After heating the chopped onion and minced garlic should be added. Cook, stirring occasionally, till onion is soft, pliant and ailed, 3-5 minutes.
Brown Ground Beef: Add the onions and garlic in the skillet then place the ground beef in it. With a spoon shred the meat until it is thoroughly browned. Remove the superfluous fat off the skillet.
Put in Slow Cooker: Transfer the cooked mixture of beef and onions to a slow cooker. Include the cream of mushroom soup that has been condensed, milk, salt, Black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix with a spoon to ensure the mixture of all ingredients in the slow cooker.
Layer Potatoes: Start to layer a layer of the thinly sliced potatoes over the beef mixture in slow cooker. Keep layering alternating the mixture of potato and beef mixture until the potatoes and beef mixture are finished, and do this with a layer of potatoes on top preferably.
Slow Cook: Place the slow cook on a low setting, cover the surface, and leave it to cook between 6-7 hours or until potatoes are totally soft. It should take you a little less or more time depending on your slow cooker.
Add Cheese: When there are 30 minutes left to cook, evenly sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese on the top of the casserole. Cover once more and cook till the cheese is hot and is melted and bubbled.
Serve: hot. Garnish with some parsley to add some color and freshness should you wish to.
