As the due date grows closer, there is usually a lot of excitement, worry, and daydreaming about finally holding that little miracle.
Andrew and Lacey Jackson were already the parents of two boys, Elliott and Devin. They could hardly handle the idea of having a baby girl.
I couldn’t help but be worried.
When baby Natalie finally arrived, they were overjoyed. But that happiness quickly turned to fear when the doctor’s face changed.
In 2018, Mom Lacey remarked, “Hearing her first cry was so special.”
“The nurse picked up our girl after my C-section, and I saw the big black mark on the left side of her face.”
“I thought I had hurt her while I was pregnant because it looked like a bruise.”
“Doctors said it was simply a birthmark, that she was breathing and healthy.

Lacey and Andrew were happy, but they were also worried about how other people could see their child.
“As I held our beautiful baby girl and fell in love with her, I was afraid that people would only see her birthmark and not the amazing person I knew she would grow up to be.”
“At that moment, I knew we would love her so much and give her all the confidence in the world so she could see how beautiful she is and how she can do anything she wants.”
Natalie’s older brothers were quite intrigued in how different their sister appeared right away.
Andrew delivered a moving explanation that turned something that might have made him feel bad into something that made him feel good. He told her that the black mark on her face was her superhero mask, which signaled that she was meant to do great things.

People glanced at Natalie during her first year. But other individuals also stopped to tell the Jacksons how special and precious their daughter was.
“We’ll always tell her that it’s a part of who she is and who she should be.” People will always remember how special she is because of her birthmark and how great she is on the inside and outside.
Her story went viral when Nathaie was born. Her dad, Andrew Jackson, is from Hull, England, and works for a software company in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Her mother is an autopsy technician.
They went to the doctor because Andrew and Lacey were worried about her health. Natalie went to an eye doctor, a skin doctor, and had an MRI to make sure her vision was still OK.

Natalie was born with congenital melanocytic nevi (CMN). These are moles that are there when you are born or that grow in the first few months of life. They happen a lot, and most of the time, they don’t cause any health problems.
Thank heavens Natalie’s findings were all good. The doctor told Natalie that she might be at a slightly higher risk of melanoma, but they convinced the family that it was only a blemish and not something to worry about.
“We didn’t know about this condition or that she was one of the rare ones before she was born.” Her body has somehow made her nevus much lighter and gotten rid of the satellite nevi she was born with, making her even more distinctive. In the four short years since she was born, no other satellites have come. A few years ago, Lacey wrote, “She is one of the lucky ones.”

Since Natalie was born, Lacey Jackson has been honest about what her family has been through. She still provides updates on Instagram, which lets us see how her kid is becoming bigger. Natalie seems to be doing well and living a normal, happy life based on the photographs.
She is quite silly, yet she is also nice, caring, and brilliant. Her parents say that they love their gorgeous little superhero very much.

Since the day she was born with that small flaw, her parents have loved her. They told her to be proud of who she is. And what now? She is having the best time of her life. She is very happy and full of life, and to be honest, she is the cutest little superhero ever!
