REN Clean Skincare, a British skincare brand that has been a leader in clean beauty for 25 years, is poised to shut down for good. This will upset devoted customers a lot, and it will be the last chance to get products for a lot less money.
In 2000, Rob Calcraft and Antony Buck launched the business in London. The name derives from the Swedish word for “clean,” which shows that the company is dedicated to employing natural components and gentle remedies that are good for skin that is sensitive. REN had a loyal fan base long before these kinds of products became fashionable since they didn’t utilize petrochemicals, parabens, sulfates, or fake smells. A recent post on the company’s official Instagram feed says that buyers can only buy the rest of the stock via REN’s own online store until July 31, 2025. More than a thousand people wrote about how devastated they were when they heard the news. Someone who works in the cosmetics industry stated they were sorry there wasn’t more “inspiration and innovation.” They said that REN was a “beautiful British brand with great values.” Some people were quite sad: “I’m devastated.” One person said, “You have made my skin a lot better many times; my skin is very sensitive!”
Someone else said, “Ren products have made my skin better than any other product I’ve ever used.” A lot of people have stated that the brand’s future would have been different if it had “stayed an independent business.”
With the deadline of July 31st coming up, REN is giving their whole collection a whopping 30% reduction on their website. But some things are already marked as out of stock since there aren’t enough of them to meet the demand.
