People are now looking at something Erika Lane Frantzve put on social media after her husband, Charlie Kirk, was murdered at the age of 31. She is married to the well-known US activist.
Frantzve and her two young children with Kirk were all at the discussion at Utah Valley University on September 10. Kirk was shot and killed by a single bullet thrown from a rooftop nearby.
Kirk was at the debate with the group Turning Point, which he helped founded when he was just 18 years old. Kirk became a controversial figure when he argued with students over things like climate change, transgender identity, and family values. The group intended to spread conservative ideals to college campuses in the US that are mostly liberal.
The video of the discussion shows Kirk standing under a white tent and speaking into a microphone in front of a crowd when he was shot.
Donald Trump, who was a personal friend of Kirk’s, later confirmed the news of his death on Truth Social, calling Kirk “legendary.”
People are paying more attention to some of the things Kirk and his family did before the incident. People on social media couldn’t help but point out that Frantzve had shared a Bible verse before the murder that took on even more importance when it happened.
At 12:45 p.m., she wrote on X (formerly Twitter): “Psalm 46:1—God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
It was evident that Kirk had died within a few hours.
A number of individuals on social media have conveyed their condolences to Frantzve since then. “Jesus is holding you in his warm embrace,” one person wrote. We are quite sad.
Someone else added, “The fact that you posted this before the event is a sign from God.”

Frantzve, who was Miss Arizona USA in 2012, married Kirk in 2021. They had met three years before.
Frantzve wrote on Instagram in 2022 that her husband was the one for her: “God knew all along it was you.” Charles James, you are my present and all of my future. It is such a blessing to have you as my husband and such an honor to be your wife. “I love you forever.” I pray our marriage keeps bringing glory to God.
After being married, Frantzve and Kirk had two kids: a daughter in August 2022 and a son in May 2024.
