More than 100 people have died in Texas because of the big flash flood. The rescue mission is still going on since a lot of people are still missing and the destruction is beyond belief.

The girls’ camp, Camp Mystic, says that at least 27 students and adults have perished. There are still 11 people missing at this time.

“Our hearts are broken, and so are the hearts of our families who are going through this terrible tragedy.” “We are always praying for them,” the camp declared on their website. They also said they are still seeking for the “missing girls” and are in touch with the police.

“We ask that you keep praying for us and give our families the space and respect they need.” The last line of the message said, “May the Lord continue to wrap His presence around all of us.”

A resident shares a horrific story of how his father and his babies were swept away.
individuals died trying to save other individuals in the middle of the great horror. Dick Eastland, the director of Camp Mystic, was one of the people who tried to get kids to safety, but sadly, he died.

George Eastland, his grandson, wrote on Instagram, “This was the only other way to save the girls he loved and cared for if he wasn’t going to die of natural causes.” According to ABC. He was a spouse, father, grandfather, and teacher to thousands of young women. He is no longer with us, but the people he helped will always remember him.

As time goes on, more and more people are coming out with scary stories of what they saw during the devastating flash flood. Lorena Guillen runs the Blue Oak RV Park in Kerr County, which was hit worst by the severe floods. She remembers a heartbreaking occasion when a father clung on to a tree while holding his babies and wouldn’t let those who were attempting to help take the kids. They all went away soon after.

“My husband was in the water begging them, ‘Please throw me your baby! “The man was holding on to his babies tightly, and then he was swept away,” Lorena Guillen told the NY Post.

People yelled all night long.
According to KWTX, the father is John Burges, who lived in Liberty, Texas. His wife Julia and two sons are still missing. On the other hand, their daughter is safe in a summer camp nearby. Guillen owns the RV park where the family stayed for the Fourth of July.

Guillen said, “The kids were so happy to be here.” She also said that the whole RV park was destroyed and that she would never forget the terrible screams of individuals who were being swept away.

“We heard people screaming all night long. The cabins from the RV park next door were moving about and hitting the trees. “Please help me!” “Help me!” was the most essential thing. “It was just too much.” There was a lot of yelling.

Lorena Guillen stated she couldn’t sleep, so she went to the edge of the river in the middle of the night.

“My husband and I ran down. At that point, the first level of the RVs was already gone. The river climbed almost 10 feet at that time. They were the closest to the water, thus a family of five got stuck. Their RV was moving away. She said, “It was so dark that it was pitch black.”

We will always think of the people who died in this horrible catastrophe. We are keeping the victims and their families in our thoughts and prayers.
