The girl aged 15 who was reported missing since 6 weeks ago when she disappeared out of her school has been found miraculously, still alive 500miles away.
At the age of 15, Alisa Petrov vanished on April 21 in the state of Utah after she was dropped off at school, boarded a train out of town and requested assistance on the way to Las Vegas.
She had not been heard of until Sunday night when she walked into a Stetson Hills police station in Colorado Springs and pegged herself.
The police reported the teenage girl as being in a good health, and no one knows yet where she is and whether she is held against her will.
The parents of Alisa are informed of her whereabouts and cooperate with South Jordan Police Department in an effort to reunite their daughter with them, the police said.
Several hours after she disappeared, her frightened parents Olga and Nikolai Petrov found out that their young daughter led a horrific double life as they found her secret iPad under her dresser.
The adolescent had dug a dusty old box out of which she was chatting with three three men who had been accused of sending her spicy and explicit messages. All the three are in prison.
It was Nikolai who announced on Facebook Alisa was located, and the family was soon going to visit her in Colorado.
‘All of us are so glad that Alisa is found and we are eager to see her!’, he wrote.
Particular gratitude goes to the South Jordan Police Department who were working on weekends, and to Salt Lake City FBI who assisted them.

Alisa was set down at her school, Canyon Grove Academy in American Fork, some 32 miles south of Salt Lake City, on April 21.
Rather than attend school she purchased items at a local gas station (Speedway) and persuaded a man to take her to the local train station.
Alisa got off the train in Provo, some 14 miles away to the south of American Fork, where she requested several individuals to assist her to buy a bus ticket to Las Vegas where she had plans to meet Matthew Nicholas Menard, 35.
Last week, Olga told DailyMail.com that her daughter had pocket money and birthday gift money, totaling about $1,000, when she was 15 the day before she ran away (on April 16) because she had missed spending it on her birthday on April 11.
Some one is aiding her but we do not know who or where… I am not putting the worst to it,’ she answered.
That is she is with another person and we do not know whether it is a good person or it is a bad person.
The South Jordan Police Sergeant Shaun Becker claimed that it was not the end of the investigation that the girl Alisa was located now – it was only the starting point.
At a press conference, he said, they will keep doing all they can to determine what occurred.
It was a missing girl case and we were out to get and keep bad actors involved in that case on their toes.
When others are available we will take the same road and charge them too.
Alisa has not described the reasons that led to her running away but messages exchanged between Alisa and Samuel Teancum Mitchell, 41, another of the men charged with communicating with her on Discord and Snapchat showed that Alisa had a deep hatred towards her parents.
In their chat, the minor refers to committing suicide and that she despises her parents, police wrote in a probable cause affidavit when they arrested Mitchell.
Having met a girl online who was angry at her parents and started cutting herself, Mitchell suggested that he had done so.
Alisa was also asking Mitchell several times to kidnap her. The affidavit said she sent him addresses to where she was eight days before she ran away.
The two supposed to have attempted to make a date, Alisa said: ‘like r we [for real] meeting?? like can u confirm please before tonight confirm that we r meeting pls/ bring condoms.’
Mitch responded by saying that he was sick and unable to see her.
Later telling police she said that she met an FBI agent in Florida and was interested in that guy, the affidavit alleged.
That man is suspected to be Menard, a tech sluicing representative not an FBI officer who is said to have taken months in grooming Alisa to have sex.
Two days prior to her disappearance Alisa sent Mitchell a goodbye message reading: IM RUNNING AWAY, please do not contact me (at 12.34am).
This was apparently because the plan of Alisa changed to meet Menard during his business trip in Las Vegas and then fly to Los Angeles then later to his home in Miami.
Police outlined in affidavits the chilling text conversation between Alisa and Menard with dates ranging back to January 17.
The two never met, but his phone was confiscated by the police in Miami on April 30, after messages had been discovered between them on Alisa iPad.
The suspect, Menard was booked with two acts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, enticement of a minor and three counts of criminal solicitation on May 20, and turned himself in to police eight days later.
The other man Alisa claims she was talking on the phone to, who is 37 years old, William Taylor Glines, Texas City, Texas was apprehended on May 8 and has yet to be released on bond.
Glines was indicted with aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, attempt aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, and, enticement of a minor, and criminal solicitation.
The police in Texas even accused him of having over 50 images or videos of sexual abuse involving children. He has not taken a plea yet.
According to the probable cause affidavit, a series of disturbing chats between Glines and Alisa were listed, among them the way he supposedly persuaded he to send nude photos and videos.
Mitchell got arrested last Wednesday and was hurled into Salt Lake County Jail with five counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
No child porn of Alisa was found in his phone, however, in it, police claim to have found disgusting chats with two other girls, one of whom was certainly 15 and the other, who seemed to be about 12, nude photos and videos of those two.
Olga added that she and her husband were careful of their daughter and taught her the risks associated with talking to strangers online.
We recently have been checking her phone and there is nothing suspicious. Classmates, neighbours, everything was normal, she said.
We never knew that she was able to talk to strangers in this manner… It is because she is tricky and we did not realize. Wish we had known about this earlier and were able to assist her.’
