After visiting her doctor and having her first ultrasound, Jenny Marr would have been even excused to believe that there is something wrong with her unborn baby when her doctor looked at her strangely on that day…
She had no idea that Dr. Lauren Murray was going to alter her life and the life of her partner forever.

I am sure that all the people who have been pregnant in the past and have had an experience of visiting a sonographer can agree that it was both nervous and thrilling.
It is very moving to watch something come on that black screen and then realize that it is a living being. However to Jenny Marr and her boyfriend Chris it was such things and more.
This was the couple who lived in Grapevine, Texas and had been attempting to conceive a child in the past few months when they met in a local pub. Yet, when Jenny stopped trying to conceive (at least temporarily) and later accomplished it, she and Chris experienced a shock of their lives when they underwent an impressive ultrasound.

That was when Jenny knew that she was not pregnant with one child.
Jenny said to TODAY: I was like, Oh no, there is no heartbeat. And, she says, ‘No there is a heartbeat! She says, Yo, there are three three babies in there. And we totally went off the floor.”
It was natural that Jenny and her partner Chris were surprised, however, the surprises did not go any further.
And then, a few days after that, just a week later, on November 19, 2019, they were back extending a follow-up visit in the maternal-fetal medicine specialist, and then they again received the same weird stare of the technician when she was doing the ultrasound.
The (tech) giving me the scan comically looked at me. Oh what is happening now, we said. Then we would be frightened once more, as Chris told TODAY, we got worried again.
She was very adorable. Her words were, I am not supposed to tell you, but y all got four babies.”

They went to expecting one instead of four babies in 7s when they went to the doctor.
Chris remarked: I said the joke I am not going back, because there will be five babies the next time. We simply were astonished. Going up one to four was something one could swallow. Immediately after that we had word that they were well.”
In a study based on the results of Dr. Lauren Murray and her colleagues, it was calculated that there are fewer than 1 in 11 million or 1 in 15 million natural births involving a spontaneous quadruplet birth of identical children … really rare in other words.
“It’s unbelievable. But this will never be repeated in my career. I told her sister, girl go out and buy some lottery tickets because that is the kind of odds we are talking about,” Murray said. How wonderful it was a miracle.
Although there was a risk that one of the babies might sap the other ones of the nutrients and hence they needed surgery and got issues, this four for some reason was not only fine, but they were more than willing to share.

The children were very good sharers. No events on the sonogram even before that when we had any concern that either of them or two and three would come out very small,” Murray said.
That is why on March 15, at 28.5 weeks, Jenny delivered.
She had attempted to reach to 33 weeks but needed to give birth prematurely. She gave birth to the babies at the onset of the coronavirus mess, and her C-section was successful.
The first baby was Baby Harrison who was 2 pounds 6 ounces. Hardy was born next and weighed 2 pounds 10 ounces then came Henry or 2 pounds 6.7 ounces and lastly Hudson who weighed 1 pound 15 ounces.

They were born in three minutes all of them. It is unbelievable,” said Jenny. I remember we had put a name on them; we called them our baby birds, as they much looked like baby birds.
The three out of the four spent 10 weeks in the newborn intensive care section where they were on oxygen therapy among others. but in the early days of May, they got home … and Jenny and Chris couldn!t be happier.
After one year when Jenny met DFW Child she gave him an update on the progress of her quadruplets.
They are all leg-crawlers. I have two who will be walking within a month probably, which means that the other two are not far apart. They take all into consideration. They are filthy and sloppy. So little already they are! Eating is nothing more than just putting food in their face and getting it in as fast as they can. They are hilarious and simply good as they come.”

We only hope this little story, and our boys, give as much pleasure to everyone, as they give to us, Jenny explained.
Today, the quadruplets are aged 3 years and they appear fine.
Jenny has opened an Instagram where anybody can watch the progress of the family. She is followed by 140,000 people and Jenny who used to be a dental assistant regularly posts about this or that and provides the insights of the Marr family daily routine, which is rather active.

As Jenny was born in a rather unusual way, it is but natural that some people have questions and are of curiosity about the family and birth experience of Jenny. Jenny explains that she gave birth to these boys in lack of medical practice and medication.
Another question many people tend to address to Jenny is how she is managing to have four rowdy boys.
I do not know anything other than this, and I do not really have any choice! During my growing up years my family had prescholds and their starting age was 8 weeks. I would also sit in with the babies in preschool. Jenny grew up surrounded by children hence, it feels like a second nature to me when it comes to looking after children.
That is just how it is. One must take the punches. I recall saying to my doctor, whether I should attend parenting classes or not. No, you will learn things in NICU, she replied. and there are four of them. Nobody is going to teach you to do this.

Another issue that people are wondering is how Jenny and Chris could distinguish the boys.
Well as their parents we just more or less know. In most cases, we observe 4 different faces and the personalities and voices of the latter are very different. To a person who has just met them: (in order of age) Harrison is the tallest and with the best hair. Hardy wears a chipped front tooth and is ultra-slim. The face of Henry is chubby and his hair bounces when he runs. Hudson is the shortest and has freckle on his forehead. That is the best I can tell you, as to going by, in order to distinguish between them,” Jenny says.

There are four valuable little babies who are born in the world … how wonderful the day of March 15 indeed!
Chris, I am glad to hear that about you, Jen. I cannot even dare to imagine all the memories you will make out as a family and the amount of love which will exist in your house.
