Recently, people heard from Joe Biden about his latest cancer diagnosis
When his ‘aggressive’ prostate cancer was shared, Biden responded with a message on social media.
Last week, the personal office for President Biden announced he had a new finding of a prostate nodule as his urinary problems became more frequent.
The report revealed that on Friday, he had prostate cancer confirmed by a score of 9 (Grade Group 5) and spreading to his bones.
A Gleason score reviews the cancerous cells to give them a score from one to 10, based on their look compared with normal cells. If the score is nine, it indicates that the cancer behaves very aggressively.
The next part of the statement said: “While it is a more powerful cancer, it responds well to hormone therapy, allowing for proper care.”
His physicians are working together with the President and his family to consider the best treatments.
The former president posted a photo of himself, his wife, Jill and their cat on Twitter.
The text of the image said: “Cancer doesn’t spare any of us.” We are like the rest of you in realizing that our most powerful moments arise from wearing our scars.
Thank you for giving us encouragement and loving support in our lives.
President Donald Trump posted on Truth Social to comment on the news of his former predecessor’s health.
In a post, Donald Trump mentioned that he and Melania are sad to find out about Joe Biden’s recent health issues. We hope Jill and her family feel comforted and that Joe has a speedy recovery.
Before becoming president, Biden suffered from a minor form of skin cancer that was surgically treated. On top of that, just a few weeks ago, another cancerous lesion was found and removed from his chest.
During November 2021, a polyp was taken out of his colon which did not cause cancer but could have developed into one.
According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight men is likely to develop prostate cancer and, aside from lung cancer, it is the top cause of cancer death among men.
One out of every 44 men who are diagnosed with cancer may not survive, but a majority do not lose their lives to the disease.
Should you be affected by any of these problems and want to get someone’s attention, the American Cancer Society is reachable at 1-800-227-2345 or through their live chat feature around the clock.
