As Jake lay on the side of the lake slacking off, things took a turn for the worse when a wild snake discovered him, but in a strangely way.
Not long ago, he discovered that he had been mistaken with the snake’s intentions as it started moving towards him in a way he had never felt before.

Jake was comfortably and on that note strolling over the lake when that quiet scene was suddenly disturbed when a snake appeared out of thin air.
The snake crawled towards him, not far away, just a few feet from where he was sitting. Far from humans is the normal activity for most snakes, but his proximity had caught him off guard that this one wasn’t in aggressive mode. Most of the time, he would have peace and quiet in the lake with no disturbance. Jake had seen a lot of animals roaming around in that area, birds, fishes and even a few frogs around but finding a snake this close was something different.
Jake had an uneasy look on his face as he said, “I’ve never seen one get this close before”.

Jake reflected, “I assumed nothing out of the ordinary was going on”, and tried to wrap his head around what just happened. As the lake was painted with vivid oranges and pinks as the night sun started its descent. The usually calm atmosphere got turned on its head and felt strange. Jake directed his gaze towards the sky although he barely registered the colors. Jake quietly pointed out, “Look at that sunset”. He was trying to fill the silence.
Even when distracted by watching the snake, Mark didn’t reply. He kept on examining the snake, ready for it to move; at any time.
The Sudden Bird Exodus
Just at the point where the tension was supposed to flow off, something unanticipated occurred to make both of them jump. A whole flock of birds took off from the trees, leaped into the sky and frantically flapping their wings, the flapping of their wings disappearing rapidly with their movements.

The men’s faces were consumed with the snake’s movements and they anxiously waited for the next move. Jake wondereding, “Perhaps it’s communicating somehow?” And Jake did also say something, still attempting to put the last events together.
Mark shook his head. We’re not sure but we stay with the idea that we will wait here until we determine that there’s no danger. Although not completely understanding why the snake acted the way it did, Jake and Mark’s priority was to stay stills while they worked out what was happening.
