Charlotte Holmes saw her heart doctor in 2019, and he ordered her to go to the hospital straight soon. Her blood pressure was 234/134, which is a lot higher than typical. But this woman had no idea that she would glimpse both heaven and hell that day.
Her doctor told her she couldn’t go home because she was having a hypertensive crisis. They didn’t do that; instead, they put an IV in her to try to relax her blood vessels. She was told by the doctor that she might suffer a heart attack.
At one time, Charlotte started talking about “the flowers.” Danny, her husband, was right there with her and knew something was amiss when she talked about flowers that weren’t there. It was as if she were right there.
Danny says, “As soon as they called this code, everyone ran in and started working on her.” “I thought…” I’m worried I won’t even be allowed to bring her home.
Charlotte’s heart stopped, and Danny and Charlotte stated it didn’t start up again for 11 minutes.
“I was above my body. Charlotte said she had a “out-of-body experience.” “I could see Danny in the corner.” He had moved back. I could see them; all the nurses were there. Then I closed my eyes. I looked around at the beautiful things around me. I could see the trees and the grass. The music made everything move. I can’t describe heaven to you since it’s so far beyond what we can understand.
She reported that angels took her to heaven and that there was no fear, only joy.
Charlotte then saw her parents and other family members who had died again. She stated she saw her dead parents cradling a baby, which was the baby she lost when she was six months pregnant.
“I remember them saying, ‘Charlotte, it’s a boy,’ as they held the baby up.” He left after that. I said, “God, how is that possible?” when I saw this small kid. “They keep getting bigger in heaven,” he says. But there isn’t time. It lasts for all time. So, 48 years later, our child is now a toddler.
Charlotte saw both heaven and hell.
When she was in heaven, God showed her what hell was like and how it smelled like rotting flesh.
“Seeing hell after seeing the beauty of heaven is almost too much to bear,” she added.
Charlotte says that God told her to tell others what happened to her and warn them about the terrible things that happen in hell.
She heard a voice remark, “This is where they will live,” before she returned back to her body.
After 11 minutes of witnessing heaven and hell, Charlotte’s eyes started to blink. She was back.
Charlotte passed away in November 2023, when she was 72 years old. She shared the story of her heavenly experience every day till she died.
“After 52 years of a great life, it’s so hard for me to say goodbye to this lovely lady…” When she died in 2019, God gave her a glimpse of heaven, and her life changed. It lasted like way until he brought her home. “Her journey has come to an end,” her husband wrote on social media after she died.
